Infection Prevention: COVID 19- CDC Guidelines
Please follow the Safety Guidelines:
- If you are sick, stay at home.
- Mask are mandatory and must remain on throughout the church service.
- Strict respiratory etiquette (cover for coughing or sneezing).
- NO Physical contact
- Individuals who are at high risk are asked to stay at home if conditions are not under control.
- Social distancing must be maintained/No group gatherings before, during or after service.
- We will take every one’s name who enters the church to provide a tracking system.
We are committed to your safety and to the safety of others, adherence to precautions and prevention of COVID 19 is everyone’s responsibility. Upon entry we will have other details guidelines for you.

Rising Star Baptist Church Re-Opening Guidelines
It is known that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to others by infected persons who have few to no symptoms. Even if an infected person is only mildly ill, the people they spread it to may become seriously ill and die, especially if they are 65 years or older. Because of the hidden nature of this threat, everyone should rigorously follow the practices specified in these protocols, all of which will help facilitate safe and measurable reopening.
Guidelines
*We need names of all members entering the building to provide a tracking system.
*Everyone is to wear a mask. (Nose and mouth must be covered at all times). If no face mask, one will be provided for you.
*Everyone must use hand sanitizer at the door before entering the building.
*We will worship for the first few months in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Use the Fellowship Hall entrance, ONLY, and exit through the same door. Follow ushers or deacon’s directions at all time.
*Use the baskets at the entrance to the Fellowship Hall to place titles and offerings, to collect extra mask and to pick up Communion to avoid moving around.
*There will not be accessibility to the choir loft, classrooms, kitchen, pulpit or back hall, media booth (unless authorized).
*Seating protocol requires 4 feet distancing front, back and sides (families may sit closer). All seats, doors will be sanitized after use.
*No bulletins will be provided. Information will be shown on overhead screen.
*Church service will be limited to 50 minutes and it is recommended not to be loitering after church service.
*We are providing “touchless “systems. Doors will remain open. Touchless system in bathrooms-soap and paper.
*No drinking from water fountains. We will cut off water or place tape.
*A sanitizing back pack has been purchase by the church to sanitizer all areas after use (secretaries office, finance office, media booth, pastor’s study, Fellowship Hall, etc.
*Ventilation system was cleaned before the church opened. Nothing special in the ventilation system is deemed necessary.
* There will be no funerals, eating events, renting out church until further notice.
*All ushers will wear gloves. They will open and close doors. Please follow their lead.
*Church service will be held near the restrooms.
*Recordings of the choir and announcements will be played on the overhead screen until further notice. No choir.
*We ask that everyone stay at home if ill-fever, chills, shortness of breath, fatigue, etc.
*Please pay attention and obey the signage placed around the church
*No congregating in the Fellowship Hall after service.
